Finally today, Friday, I made a special trip just to take some photo's to share.
A gorgeous purple/lilac Wisteria.
It climbs the side of an old barn that's lower now than the road that pass through the edge of the village.
You can see that it's grown almost tree like in it's quest.
It hides the end of the barn.
It's blooms almost hiding the door below.

Magical ! I am hoping that over time my Wisteria will grown into a tree like shape and fall gracefully down into the garden.

ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of this colour around here too at the moment, but it is Jacaranda trees that are in full bloom! The streets here are lined with them, where the streets in Estepa and Sevilla are lined with oranges and lemon trees!
