LITTLE JOBS GETTING DONE

But first this gorgeous pink Magnolia Lenard Messel.

A closer look. It's so lovely we are now planning to get another to put in the front garden.

Paul's stained the new railings a mid brown to help them blend in.

When taking photos or looking at the raised garden, often the greenhouse shows up in the back ground and can detract from the photo/ view.

So we found a couple of posted we'd removed from elsewhere, along with two pieces of thin green trellis that was on the wall at the front of the house but removed when we had new windows put in. These are now shielding the raised garden from the greenhouse, although the closest section can be seen quite clearly in the above photo, once the plants in front of it fill out it will not be so noticeable ,the section behind the statue on her right is almost invisible.

This one taken later in the day.

The same here , the greenhouse is quite dominant, seen on the right here.

We had this piece of black stained trellis sitting around for a few years and fitted perfectly between the two tall posts we'd put in especially for this purpose but not got round to finishing off.
Again once the fern at the back of the rockfall gets it's new leaves it will vanish even more.

So three pieces of trellis now have a new home plus two posts, which all helps tidy the garden up and saves money.
