It's a shame they will be long gone by the time the open day comes around.

FLOWER GARDEN

The flower garden is filling with colour. The bearded Iris's are having a fabulous year, they seem to have multiplied and are flowering in beautiful groups of colour.

Seen from the other side.

Each of the four beds are filling with mounds of green , so hopefully plenty of colour next month

plenty of purple around

The Rhododendron's are flowering at the back with some lovely red and yellows.

This bearded Iris is called something like Quanchee ?

Unfortunately when all the Iris's were moved from their original bed in the centre of the garden before the paving was laid, Paul didn't think to group them  and keep the name tags with them, so for some reason we appear to have loads of the purple and only one or two of the other colours.

Somewhere we did have a group of the light blue Jane Phillips but so far I have not seen even one of them! I'm hope one will flower soon, so I know we still have them.

I wish I had enough space to have a long Iris bed like I have seen elsewhere.
