These are some photos from the gardens at Standen House an Arts and Crafts property in the care of the National trust.

We stayed close to the house when going round the gardens due to the constant threat of heavy rain but the gardens were lovely an well worth a visit.

Loved the conservatory and the detail of that appears like a large bird table and a quality version of trellis!

    Such a lovely garden and so full of autumn shades.
    How big is it, Dee? This is one of those NT properties I have never heard about and I don't even know where it is. Is the house open to the public too?

      It was gorgeous. It's not too big most flowers planted up near the house, but plenty of land attached.
      The house is open to public, the photos are on my main blog
