A WONDERFUL YEAR FOR THE ROSES.

The rambling Rector is still in full bloom, this is just a small part of it!

The Blush Nosette is also looking wonderful , full of small pink blooms

The view as you enter the flower garden.

The Mannington Mauve is still looking good.

This is a new rambler we put in last year, I cannot remember it's name at present but it's full of sweet open centred blooms.

Just a few photos I took this evening while in the flower garden.Today's been a beautiful sunny day followed by a lovely warm evening.

  1. Gorgeous, Dee! This lovely post gives me hope - our roses are still only in bud but lots of buds are showing. In a year when we will be short of blooms elsewhere, if our roses are as lovely as yours, I shall be very happy.
Keep n eye on Billy Bob, though. When we had goats, they loved a good rose petal lunch......

    1. They will be gorgeous once those buds open :)
Billy Bob's knows he'll be for the chop if he eats any flowers :)

  2. We don't have any roses. The night scented phlox is flowering, but the evenings are not warm enough here for it to give off it's scent yet. The clematis on the arch has 2 flowers and the bulbs I planted alongside the green house have come through :) x

  4. I love seeing pics of your garden - it's so peaceful looking. We don't have any roses. They can be fairly high maintenance in our climate, although I know that there are some that are relatively easy to grow; it just takes some research.

    1. Thank you. It is lovely and peaceful here. There are roses out there that can grow with only a little help, I'll ask my expert Paul!! :)
