NEW GARDEN FURNITURE

Well finally after a few years of waiting the new garden furniture was delivered! Of course it was then a day of sun shine and showers!
So after the rain finally stopped we were able to unpack and put together the table and set it all up.

Here it is!. Please ignore the nasty paving which is on our list to replace, later this year or early next.

I opened the parasol so you could see it but as soon as I did the wind got up! The wind and parasol's are a problem due to being naer to the top of a hill and which open ground behind us, so it can be too windy for a parasol a lot of the time.
Once we are happy with the set we will probably shorten the height of the parasol which will help slightly.

The chairs and lovely and comfortable.

One of the things that attracted me to this set was this lovely table detail.

Paul was saying we should just set it up as a six seater and keep the two extra chairs to one side being as most of the time there will be just the two of us.

 But I like it with all eight seats around it and I could have bought a six seater with  curved ends and saved myself a few bob and used two other chairs when we have a full house. So I think I will stick with all eight chairs and we can move round the table as the mood takes us or the sun gets to bright!

I am so hoping that this set will last as long as our small four seater Nova set which we have had for over seventeen years. It is a big investment abut will be very handy over the coming months and years, all being well.
