SMOKE AND MIRROR'S

n

So once the new fence panel was fitted on the back fence we could add some plants.

so hanging on the over bench a mural !!

so once we knew it could look good, we had to move  the arbour seat and make a new place for it elsewhere in the garden.

Then we had to prepare the fence panel to take the mural.

So we fitted the mural centred to the exist stone circle. This left two small area's of fence panel either side.

So we bought some photography backdrop of just bricks as close as we could get , then cut sections to fit either side. We also moved an acer we had in a pot and planted it on the left hand side of the brickwork and you can just see one of the bright green branches dropping across the mural and another above following the moon gate.

So seen from further away looking over the raised bed.

Photo taken from partway along the path to the stone circle, the flowering lilac helping to give added cover to the top of the mural.

Only issue is we had to move our lovely covered arbour seat , so we need a seat here that can be keep to one side and moved into place when we want to sit here.
Also we need some more planting in the area by the brickwork and above, that will take time.

So the arbour is now in the flower garden, a shrub was removed and a space cleared for it to sit against the side fence but it faces out looking at Queen Guinevere's border.

Seen from the bench.
